iluvjava/README.md

Hi, Human, Robots, Cyborgs, or General Artificial Intelligence

There is no photo of myself here. When I was younger, github was not like Linkedin. Therefore, there won't be corporate vibe here, only internet subculture. Now. Let me introduce myself.

The following is important if you are a recruter. At around 2027, I will have a BS in computational mathematics, a MS in applied Mathematics, and a PhD in pure mathematics. See the about me 2 section below for more. Futhermore:

  1. My personal website is on the left side under my profile pic.
  2. If you from the internet who found this github, I do:

[2026-03-15]: Currently, there is no key, well documented project to show.

FAQ

About the Math repository.

The repos is now private because it contains my future publications in draft. Part of the notebook are general knowledge and it doesn't contain new contribution to the literature. To see that part of the notebook, visit published Obsidian Notebook. For all the references I use in my research, visit my Public Zotero Library.

About me

  1. I like psychedelic and ambient music.
  2. My English is native fluency, 我中文普通话也是母语水平,中文其实是我的母语, and mon français est environ CERF niveau B1 maintenant, je suis entrain de apprendre la langue français.
  3. Have a cute pink unicorn pony I made!

Skills and Experiences

  1. I write Julia code that it's as fast as C++, FOTRAN, negelecting first compile time, and assume the same algorithm implementations across those langauges. If you want to hire me, for postdoc, or a data intensive, operational research intenstive position that Julia has an ecosystem (or at least a bit and for open source data format) for it. My skills and qualifications will make people shivers.
  2. My programming skills in general are definitively better than most juniors. I took many computer science classes when I was younger. Unfortunately I would have listed the details about my programming skills if it were before 2026, but right now we are after 2026, this is what I will say: "Yes, I know vibe coding, and I code fast (300% speed up compared to when not using AI) with Anthropic Claude, I am integrating AI into my research workflows."
  3. I have an 9 months intern with a startup where I learned the in and outs of rasters files, and the geospatial plugins for PostGres SQL Databases.
  4. I am a 4th year PhD student in pure Mathmatics. Please don't say to me you hate math in college or how math is useless, I heard that everyday from many people, and it's obviously true. Furthermore, I don't recommend people to do a PhD in Math, unless they can do 10 hours of math every day and has a brain that is a excessive in cognitive function.

What Mathematics do I learn?

Topics in Mathematical Optimizations, covering Nonsmooth Analysis, Convex Analysis, Operator Theories, Duality and Algorithms, and many more. Following prominent researchers:

  1. Heinz Bauschke,
  2. Ralph Tyrrell Rockafellar,
  3. Amir Beck,
  4. Yurri Nesterov.

Most Recent Qualifications?

I did University of Washington applied mathematics program for my Master Degree (2020-2022), Professor Anne Greenbaum was my advisor. See my thesis here.
