@copilot fix the failing CI

Fixed in dbb0abe. The CI was failing because chromium@3.2171.3008 (updated by this dependabot PR) tries to run install.bat on Linux. The fix removes the chromium npm package entirely and updates test/karma.config.cjs to use CHROME_BIN env var or fall back to the google-chrome system binary, which is pre-installed on the CI runner. All 117 tests pass.
