Chief Data Engineer — Financial Crime @ National Bank of Canada 🏦 Building real-time pipelines to detect and prevent financial crime at scale. Montreal, QC 🍁 · Bilingual FR/EN
Designing and operating high-throughput streaming pipelines using Confluent Kafka and Microsoft SQL Server in a Financial Crime context. Currently exploring Snowflake for cloud-scale analytics.

- AI-assisted development workflows — actively experimenting with tools like Claude Code to rethink how software gets built 🤖
I've been writing code professionally since 2017 — starting out at agencies with PHP, Ruby on Rails, and Vue.js, then moving into backend Java/Spring work on the core transactional banking terminal at National Bank, then AWS + SAP in IT Procurement, and now deep in data engineering for Financial Crime.
Before big-bank life, I co-founded 🖨️ 3D Universalis — a 3D printing startup incubated at HEC Montréal and backed by Futurpreneur Canada. We built 3D rendering pipelines on AWS, ran bilingual (FR/EN) ad campaigns on Google and Facebook, and wired up lead capture forms to AWS Lambda + Amazon SNS to feed our CRM. This repo actually preserves those marketing landing pages.
