As per the user:

Even after I install, the install button remains available, as if I never installed it at all....when I did because it's in my add-ons.

I also see no button to switch on or off. I think this add-on is just not going through as installed. I wouldn't know why though. Never seen it happen before.

Have you guys ever faced something similar!?

I have just tried it on Firefox 54.0.1 (32-bit) on Windows and everything looks fine. Will follow up with the user to know more.

Thank you so much, @Atavic ! I'll try to downgrade mine and see what's causing the issue.

I had similar issues with other extensions: when there are some icons on top right, sometimes a new icon doesn't appear. Umatrix had this issue, but the icon appeared after disabling and re-enabling it (all of this on ESR and uMatrix old versions).
